Pros
There are a few decent humans remaining, but most are on their way out.
Cons
The positive reviews are fake, I can assure you of that. Assembly is the most toxic agency culture I’ve ever experienced. I’m not sure if it stems from the merger of MDC and Stagwell (and subsequently Media Assembly and ForwardPMX), but this agency is in a years-long identity crisis, and the lack of consistent, solid leadership has created a manic and unstable environment. They’re trying to punch above their weight in the industry and it seems like everyone is in some sort of power struggle, eager to make their mark. Decisions are made hastily, with seemingly no foresight or future planning. Then when the resulting operational failures start to pile up, the finger pointing and blaming begins. If you’re an egomaniac who is comfortable scorching the earth on your way to the top, OR if you’re a lemming who never questions the status quo and is happy to simply carry out the biddings of your overlord, then you’ll do fine here. If you like to treat others with respect (and expect the same in return) and have any desire to incite positive change within an organization, look elsewhere. Bonus insights on leadership: Stagwell's CEO and founder is a MAGA deep-state conspiracy theorist (check out his Wikipedia)
