Pros
Strong leadership at the manager level makes a real difference. My SDR manager Shekhar has been consistently supportive and accessible even while managing remotely. However the experience with team leads has been inconsistent with visible favoritism and limited hands-on involvement. At times, internal dynamics and politics can impact team effectiveness.
Cons
I just want to share some honest feedback about the Bangalore team. From what I’ve seen a lot of the actual work and team support is being handled at the SDR manager level, but the credit doesn’t always reflect that. At the team lead level, there are times where it feels more about maintaining relationships than driving real execution.
Because of this it has started affecting team morale. Some strong performers have also left and from my perspective, leadership dynamics have played a role in that. I feel there’s a need for better accountability and more fair recognition of who’s actually contributing to the team’s performance.
