Pros

The recruiter was proactive in helping me get situated in the position.

Cons

I was pulled off of the project for which I was initially hired, then funneled into a different branch of the project that seemed haphazardly thrown together. The month-long training was terrible, did not prepare me for the role I was pulled into. Aston Carter said they'd give feedback to their client, but never followed up with any other assignments despite my having a good record of attendance and performance.

Pros

Aston Carter provided excellent opportunities for professional growth, career progression, and leadership development. I had the opportunity to work with some of the largest healthcare and insurance clients in the country, build strong client relationships, and lead high-performing teams. The company offers strong training, a collaborative culture, and a performance-driven environment where hard work is recognized and rewarded. I was fortunate to work alongside talented colleagues and supportive leaders who helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Cons

Like many staffing and recruiting organizations, the environment can be fast-paced and demanding, with a strong focus on metrics and performance goals. Work-life balance can be challenging during peak periods, and processes can sometimes vary between offices or leadership teams. However, these challenges also create opportunities for growth and development.
