Pros

Each individual I've interacted with in this company has been incredibly welcoming, kind and supportive. They have accommodated me in ways that have allowed me to perform well and improve in my role. The approach for employees is that everyone has room to improve, and regular check-ins with managers are always framed as constructive critiques rather than criticism. When they say they want to see you succeed, I truly believe them! It feels so refreshing to work in a job/company that makes me feel valued and respected while also building a path toward growth in front of me. This is also my first hybrid job. I live close to the office so I personally choose to work in the office more often as it works best for me, but the '2 in office, 3 at home' schedule is a great benefit to have if you need it. Communication also comes across as quite open and strong across the board. Higher-ups regularly engage with employees, and employees and managers have channels to pass along messages, ask questions and get help as needed. As a recent starter, it's reassuring to know I'm welcome to ask 20 questions a day and will always get an answer.

Cons

Astranti heavily utilizes a 'learn by doing' approach when you join the team. This looks different across various roles, and in my experience it's mostly been positive. However, there have been several moments where I feel more structured training / material packs would have been useful. A month in, there were informative training videos provided to me that may have been useful to have watched in my first couple of weeks to save me asking questions or making mistakes. I also ended up creating various 'cheat sheets' and similar documents full of organized, helpful information that would be useful in my role. Things like this, I would have expected to have already existed in a pack or file to be given to new joiners for review. Astranti certainly encourages learning-by-doing and asking questions, but I feel there may have been many times where this time could have been saved had appropriate training materials been created and provided from the beginning. That being said, I was given adequate time to create these things for myself as I requested it for my benefit and others. One document I made is even being turned into something to be shared with students going forward.

Pros

I recently joined Astranti, and the onboarding experience has been brilliant. From day one, the team has been incredibly friendly and helpful, making it very easy to settle in and feel part of the group. What stands out most is the culture and values. Management truly puts employees first and is remarkably flexible in meeting individual needs. You can really feel the passion across the company; everyone is genuinely dedicated to their role and to helping students succeed. This environment makes me want to work to the best of my ability because I feel so supported by my colleagues and want to give that same support back to the team.

Cons

As with any passionate, growing company, it can be fast-paced. You need to be proactive and ready to dive in, but the supportive culture makes that easy to manage."

Pros

I've really enjoyed my time working here as part of the content team. The work is genuinely enjoyable and the time often flies by when you're focused on content tasks you enjoy doing. One of the biggest positives is how supportive everyone is - regardless of your role, you're treated with the same level of respect and encouraged to share your thoughts and ideas. There's a genuine culture of innovation and its clear that every voice matters, What also stands out is the opportunity to get involved in areas outside of your core role, which is great if you're someone who likes to learn and grow across different parts of the business. It's a very forward-thinking and supportive environment, and you're actively encouraged to suggest improvements or new ways of working, especially in your own role. The working arrangement is another big plus. The two days in the office each week strike a nice balance and the '9 in 10' schedule adds even more flexibility, which really helps with work-life balance.

Cons

With the mix of office and work-from-home days and having colleagues based across different locations, there's a strong emphasis on online communication and collaboration, which is great and actually very effective when used to it. However, coming from a work environment where I was used to working more closely in-person with tight-knit teams, this shift in communication style took a bit of adjustment for me at first. But you do get used to it quickly, and there are good systems in place helping make sure everyone stays connected and aligned.
