Pros

Lower level co-workers are great and it is a paycheck. Work is interesting in the beginning but once the newness wears off it is what it is.

Cons

Ownership and so called management is very repressive. Extremely out of date in terms how to handle Human Resource issues. If I could give less than one star, I would. If you need a job take it, but keep looking. Run away if you can.

Pros

This is a small company environment. The people are friendly, including the principles in the company.

Cons

Stability is a big question mark. Sometimes shipping employees were asked to work through the weekend so that the company could bill enough to meet payroll. This is uncomfortable, to say the least.

Pros

After working for John House for a couple of years, it's truly difficult to come up with positive things to say about him or the company he runs.

Cons

This company is owned and run by a man named John House. He has been disbarred from practicing law in multiple states, which directly speaks to his character and the way he conducts business. Many times when I was working for At Auction, I was contacted by angry vendors for not getting paid by the company. On more than one occasion employees were asked not to deposit their paychecks until a later date. As if that wasn't enough to run like hell from this company, they have also been raided the FBI for defrauding United States military members and their families on the AAFES website. Employees are in constant fear of being fired for situations that are out of their control. For example, if sales dip as a result of a vendor withholding products for not being paid by John House, the employees are held responsible. This a company that should be avoided by all, from entry level to experienced candidates. I have never met a group of people running a company who are more morally bankrupt that John House and the people he has in positions of leadership.
