There were some good colleagues to work with here. Compensation is alright.
Cons
Terrible environment. They fired a large portion of the workforce over the course of a year. (If I had to guess, around at least a quarter of the total employees, but I'm not sure the exact number). Reasons were mostly trivial rather than actually related to performance. Current employees experience anxiety of potentially being on the chopping block, and low morale from their coworkers dropping like flies. Any tiny amount of dissent/opinion that does not align with leadership's is not allowed and could likely lead to termination. Senior leadership, especially at the very top, will openly disrespect employees and rudely call them out in front of their peers for insignificant reasons or small mistakes. There are also so many irresponsible business practices - excessive hiring and firing, endless rotation of employees through projects, feast or famine dynamic in the workload...etc Why work here as opposed to somewhere else? I can't think of a single reason. You will treated poorly and always in danger of being fired (unless you're in the "inner circle.") There is practically no name recognition so it's not actually impressive on a resume. Learning and development is not a thing. The type of work you do there is fluff and many times at the mercy of the most difficult/unreasonable clients who purposely choose to contract with boutique firms to push around since the big ones aren't going to take their crap. Leaving the company was the best thing I could ever do to save my soul.
