Pros

Stable company. Payed every week.

Cons

Sure u can progress, so I've heard, u have to kiss the right butt and have connections and if ur like me and don't like to do that then your screwed. Seniority means nothing. No sick pay.

We are thankful for your valued feedback. We would like to inform you that we have an Internal Job Posting Policy in place that encourages all of our Athens employees to apply for open opportunities. This posting is sent and/or communicated to all employees weekly. We select those candidates who are well qualified for the position in which they applied. Additionally, our management team does their very best to work on scheduling time off for our employees as we do understand they all have families. Scheduled time off must be accrued and pre-approved.

Pros

The pay and benefits are competitive for the industry, and there are opportunities to grow if you’re willing to work hard and stay consistent. I also appreciate that leadership is approachable and willing to help when issues come up on the route.

Cons

Like any driving job, the days can be long and the work is physical, but overall it’s been a stable and rewarding place to work.

Cons

• More corporate and layered than its family-owned image may suggest • Decision-making can feel concentrated among a small leadership group • Added management layers may slow responsiveness • Promotions may not always appear tied to merit, tenure, or performance • External hiring may seem prioritized over internal development • Internal bench development may feel inconsistent • Departments can operate in silos • Communication & timelines may not always align during major initiatives • Teamwork messaging may not always match day-to-day reality • Growth opportunities can vary significantly by department & leadership
