Pros
The headline says it all. With rare exception, radio isn't heavy lifting. If you've been in the industry, you know it can be fun, especially when compared to most "real jobs". Good people. Not a lot of big egos here. Like the mafia, if you're a made man/woman, you're golden.
Cons
Having fun doesn't may the bills. While a few people are doing really well, most are barely getting by. Growth opportunities are very limited. Talent isn't valued like it should be. Nepotism. Froggy 101 morning show is a father son team. Managers don't really answer to anyone and can get away with murder.
