Pros
I’ve worked in customer service for a decent amount of time and no other job comes close to touching what AP has offered me.
To begin, I don’t dread coming into work everyday expecting someone to verbally harrass me or get in my face because I wouldn’t accomodate their out-of-protocol demand. No upper management is threatening me with termination if I do not risk my professional standards to perform a task that is outside of what I feel comfortable with. I feel like the people here, while unique in their personalities and quirks, all conform to the same standard and that is to provide the best customer service to the client.
The benefits are insane. You will not find another job in the US that has this level of benefit package, unless you’re a CFO/CEO. That’s just the bottom line. The salary is competetive, especially since it seems that there is at least 1 paid holiday a month. The work-life balance is great.
Cons
This con is also a pro: very difficult product to work with. If you want to grow your skills this is the place to be. If you like working on stuff that’s going to work perfectly everytime and you don’t ever have to check anything, you won’t make it here.
