Pros

Large company with great product lines and a great well respected founder.

Cons

Wow. Where to begin? A large company with an incredible history. The founder is a wonderful man and very respected in the industry. Unfortunately the man he partnered with is nothing like him. The new owner (who I suspect is the majority owner because he calls all the shots) runs the place like a huge corporation and is constantly looking at cutting costs while taking the focus off of what made this company great and long lasting - high end quality. Don't get me wrong, I understand the need to make a business profitable. But it cannot be all about profit. What was once a well respected very high end company is now employing many installers that do not have the experience to deliver high quality work. 8 installers have left with a total of over 55 years with the company in just the past year. That is insane! And very telling of what is going on over there. They must not teach the importance of holding on to key employees at Harvard. I feel the new owner is grooming the books for an eventual sale. The company does look great on paper (over 15 million in revenue), but there are so many underlying problems and all the wrong people making the decisions. It is an absolute shame what has become of this company. There is no money for raises but the far right Christian owner hires a company Chaplain! Does he not realize that a handful of his employees are atheists? A true Christian would put people before profits- like Jesus would!

Pros

One of my favorite things about the company is the people. They treat you like anyone else, you're not just "the intern", your a smart and integral part of the team. They invest in your future by providing new projects and challenges for you to grow and discover what you truly like.

Cons

If you go full time you most likely will be working more than 40 hours per week.
