I was somewhat deceived about the nature of the job: I was told I would be working as a cashier at one of Aurify's restaurants. However, I wasn't told that this 'cashier' job also including dishwashing and spending 2 hours per night cleaning after the restaurant closed. Even when I asked for full-time work, I was given less than 30 hours per week - impossible to live on in NYC when the pay is $9/hr. The shifts are also totally bizarre. While there are normal AM and PM shifts, there's also a few short midday shifts like 11:30 to 2 to 12 to 4 that would make it impossible to hold a second job.
