Avanade is a great place to grow skills, but it may come at some costs, such as traveling situations. - Senior Analyst Avanade Employee Review

Pros

The employee benefits, as well as the training model they have setup to help you constantly be updating and honing your skills. They also offer a vast amount of free software through the parent relationship with Microsoft. There seems to be quite an emphasis people being their assets which is refreshing to show that they seem to genuinely care about their employees, and don't just see them as a number.

Cons

Hit or miss with travel, if you want to travel sometimes it seems like there is no work traveling, and if you want to stay local, there is no local work. Sometimes project might not be the latest and greatest technology you might want to work with.

Pros

A really nice office with perks and company culture that come from Accenture.

Cons

There is a prioritization with getting certifications and doing a lot of tasks outside of full time client work, just to get promoted. If you are in the bench and it’s a slow season, there is a high risk of getting laid off. You will lose your sense of purpose all for the trendy AI culture. The company thrives on buzz terms and marketing solutions rather than actually solving anything.
