Pros
- Plenty of very cool, smart coworkers - Remote-first work, flexible with work-life balance - Compensation is average
Cons
- Owned by a private equity firm interested in short term profits ahead of a likely inevitable resale - Constant routine layoffs. People just disappear with no messaging - Archaic tech they won't spend the money to rebuild, falling behind many other competitors from a basic product perspective - Leadership doesn't have the slightest idea what's happening further down the org, who is doing what, what the skill gaps are, or who has institutional knowledge that is critical. Don't think they care - Leadership is entirely focused on enterprise but think they can get there through acquisitions - You won't be promoted, you'll probably be laid off after one or two years, and they'll keep pretending to give a crud about people (employees and customers) publicly. Working there would not be recommended.
