Pros

You can use flex time and work from home.

Cons

If you choose to work from home, you end up putting in a 12 hour day. The CEO is a micromanager. You can’t send emails out until she approves of them.

Pros

Building client relationships, fantastic business model, great product and great perks. Fully stocked break room/ping pong. Remote work occasionally accepted. Company is expanding exponentially. Abilities and work can shine if you’re willing to put in the effort. The company is growing so fast that there are oceans of opportunities for those who have stayed through the growing pains. The potential for personal development is boundless.

Cons

Technical support and dev team needs to be micromanaged. Systems are falling behind the growth of the company, causing trouble in all departments. Many “entitled” individuals throughout the company cause friction in support departments, but are supported by senior leaders. Some people would rather lie about what’s happening in their day to day or their production instead of coming clean, which pressures other staff to complete work well outside of their department or abilities. Accounts and customer demands are becoming increasingly difficult to meet, realistically, which puts pressure on support departments to produce unrealistic results for client services.

Pros

Fully stocked Break room Small, and at times laid back work environment. Frequent catered lunches. Biannual work outings. Nice building, and location to work at.

Cons

Poor communication skills from those in Management, and in between departments. Little to no sense of job security. Promotions mean nothing more than more work for little to no raise. Performance evaluations are not given, leaving no idea of where you stand. Bad behavior is rewarded, especially financially. Those with no authority try to micromanage other Employees. Professionalism in the workplace is not rewarded, or respected. Hard work is not rewarded. Management appreciates those who model their behavior. If you are loud, you will be rewarded. The CEO/Owner of the company is very two-faced, and cannot be trusted. Gaslighting is a common tactic used by Management.
