The role itself is something left to be desired. NIMBL has an unhealthy reliance on SAP and other cloud providers as a partner to do business. You are expected to work with inexperienced SAP reps where their team sees constant churn or negligence and work with Google/AWS reps who see NIMBL as a second thought. Imagine working on a contract where you have to wait for a partner to finalize the commercials on their end only to have them take off for vacation. There is a huge learning curve to the space where you're expected to learn the SAP product ecosystem and the partner ecosystem as a whole; learn about every practice at NIMBL; all while learning the context within your territory while building a pipeline. My manager was overstretched in his role so I had to learn from my peers who are generally unable to help you ramp as the expectations are high and they'd rather prioritize their own efforts. Any criticism came in the form on emotionally charged responses of obvious frustration and microaggressions. Just a hot mess of a place I'm sure they will figure it out in years to come as they just brought in a CRO.
