Pros

It was hybrid. Only pro.

Cons

I joined Axia by QCells in August 2024 as a contractor with little to no onboarding or guidance. From the start, I was told I would be converted to full-time in a few months. That promise was repeated every 2–3 months for nearly a year, yet I remained a contractor until around the 10-month mark. During that time, I watched colleagues with similar experience and skill sets—who started months after me—receive full-time offers immediately. My performance was consistently strong, meeting and exceeding expectations, so the delay was not related to my work ethic or ability. However, recognition for good performance was nearly nonexistent. Leadership’s focus was overwhelmingly on hitting numbers and meeting quotas, with little interest in fostering employee development, morale, or collaboration. The culture felt disconnected and transactional, with managers acting more like bosses than leaders. There was minimal transparency, little support for individual growth, and no real investment in building a healthy work environment. The workload was heavy, compensation was below market rates, and the lack of fairness in opportunities made it difficult to feel valued or motivated. Save your mental health and don’t work here. simply not worth it.

Cons

Axia is a star-up. As such many of the drawbacks of working for a start-up do exist. The top two challenges I see are workload and stress Employees at Axia are often required to wear multiple hats and take on a variety of roles, leading to increased workload and stress. Axia's start-up culture may demand long hours and significant personal investment, which can affect work-life balance.

Pros

They are positioned well for the future, with exceptions. The people are professional.

Cons

No employee feedback is taken seriously, no advanced path, bonuses, and pay rate increases are insufficient, and no formal training (learn by trial and error).
