Pros

-This is the perfect job if you're in the market to find a new job -Management really has no clue what anyone is doing, so you can skate by doing the bare minimum without any fear of remorse

Cons

-Upper management never wants to make managerial decisions, they are too timid to make tough decisions and just pass the buck every chance they get or just let things play out -No real honest feedback, especially to those who truly need it. Employees that perform terribly get patted on the back while the high performing employees become the workhorse of the company because management doesn't care who does the work as long as it gets done. With this vicious cycle, the employee turnover rate remains super high as they realize there are far better places to work -There is alot of strife between senior management themselves and what the company's direction and role should be. This creates a problem for employees as they are directed to do different things from their 3 different bosses.

Pros

BAV is the best brand measurement tool out there bar none. The Brand Asset Valuator has been cited in text books and is known to be the best tool for understanding brands and how they build over time (and why they decline). If you've ever wanted to be associated with the best - BAV is it.

Cons

BAV is run like a personal fiefdom which would be OK if it was generating good revenue. Unfortunately, there is no repeat business because no one follows up with clients. While the "CEO"of BAC ,Ed Lebar, is charismatic he is barely competent at most other business aspects. In particular, he lacks any management abilities and does not understand research although he thinks knows both. He has a history of getting rid of very competent people who threaten to outshine him. The result is a failing business. The only thing that keeps BAC alive is BAV's reputation - but sooner or later even BAV's reputation is not going to be enough to get new clients.
