Pros
Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability insurance, ID protection, and 401k are offered. A good "filler" job if you are needing a paycheck while looking for a better (permanent) position. Low stress level (in my current project). Flexible schedules.
Cons
I've worked with this company for 2-plus years and haven't even received a cost of living raise. No real career advancement opportunities. No education or training opportunities. No PTO whatsoever. No paid holidays or sick leave. If you take time off for a doctors appointment (for example) it is up to your supervisor's discretion if you can make up that time. My previous supervisor I was able to do that but my current one doesn't allow it so it means a shorter paycheck. Very discouraging that a person has to decide whether to see their doctor or get a full paycheck.
