Pros

1. Fully office-based role in Zone 2 (Finsbury Park / Manor House area). 2. Exposure to reactive maintenance and facilities-related tasks.

Cons

No structured onboarding, induction, or training for new starters Expectations are unclear from day one, with pressure to perform immediately Probation period feels one-sided and is used as a control mechanism rather than a development phase Minimal managerial support when asking for help; assistance often delayed or unavailable Work is highly reactive, with urgent tasks assigned late in the day and little context Disorganised environment that creates unnecessary stress and last-minute pressure Cold-calling contractors independently, with no established supplier list or proper support Limited authority to delegate or resolve issues despite high responsibility Impersonal and unsupportive culture, with little effort to integrate new employees Communication style can feel dismissive or condescending rather than constructive Long working hours expected, with overtime and occasional weekend work not clearly managed No employer pension contribution and no company benefits offered Salary does not reflect the level of responsibility, workload, or pressure of the role

Pros

Get used to a tough working environment

Cons

Demoralising, poor leadership, dishonest advertising and bad payers to suppliers. Not good for annual reviews. No regular training either.
