Pros
I can WFH pretty often.
Cons
Everything. They do not care about their talent pipeline. They do not care about employees growing and learning. They are very stereotypical in gender roles on team. It is very cliquey both with Management and peers. They expect you to work 14 hours a day and on weekends and refuse to recognize it in bonuses, raises or promotions. HR doesn’t care about serious issues - they only try to mitigate loss to BNY Mellon in any way. They truly do not care about their employees or retaining them. I have worked at BNY Mellon for 2 years and everyone is leaving left and right since new management came in (CEO and CTO). It’s practically impossible for me to leave considering my experience at BNY has been pretty mediocre since I have 0 chance to grow or learns. Such a toxic environment.
