Pros
Head offices has a coffee machines on each floor. Due to lack of staff, working from home is generally accepted and OT is readily available. There's some nice eateries near head office.
Cons
Due to lack of staff and regualr "recruitment freezes" you are often expected to increase your workload to compensate i.e absorbing majority BAU tasks from another team due to resignations and no recruitment. Career growth is non existent, 1:1s might occur by-annually (if you are lucky). I didn't know of one ops team at full FTE capacity, it did allow budget for OT most days, but at a detriment to your work / life balance and sanity. There is no culture, everyone is trying to survive and get through the workload while being severely under-staffed. Salary is very low in comparison to competitors which made finding experienced staff difficult, and retaining staff even harder
