Pros

Benefits: Share purchase scheme Healthcare Free BT services (broadband, BT sport) Number of holiday days Travel loan Generally nice co-workers

Cons

Agree with a previous reviewer: backstabbing, political place to work. Not customer focused, Zero support from top-down and advancement is based on length of service instead of skills. Flexibility is based on whether they like you, and if they don't you'll know about it. The younger employees are desperately trying to change the company and the way the market perceives it but what has always been done a certain way must never be questioned. Anyone who speaks up is 'punished' from what I've witnessed, especially if they're an 'outsider' coming in. Staff morale generally is rock-bottom and the company is bleeding senior management. Job specs and titles mean nothing as 'empower' is not a familiar word to BT so they may as well write contracts on toilet paper and save people the trouble. I would avoid BT at all costs if looking for a new job unless you're fresh out of Uni and starting your career.

Pros

Benefits are better than most US companies. You get twice or triple the numbers of days off per year.

Cons

Focus is more on originating company location for group events and emails. Due to time zone differences, it can be difficult to work with others without adjusting your schedule. It is difficult to get promoted outside originating country. Roles are few and far between in the US.
