Pros

Good coworkers and relaxed atmosphere (when the owner isn't around). Given opportunities to do work in my preferred field (art) by members of the art team. Easy to get a job despite having just graduated college. Pretty much got to make my own hours. Great experience in dealing with horrible management.

Cons

Never got paid on time - and it seemed to be an expected thing with most of the employees who had worked there longer. Lack of structure - to this day, I'm not sure who my boss/supervisor was supposed to be, but I was told to take most things to the company owner. "Copycat" work - Majority of the projects we had were re-releases of older work or copies of products released by other companies. Don't expect to work on anything too original. No training or feedback (until the owner had complaints) - I ended up getting most of my starting paperwork and advise from a coworker. Never got feedback until the owner ran into bugs and called a meeting to complain about QA not finding them (no apologies when it was discovered his outdated build version was the problem either). Owner/CEO - He can never be told he is wrong or something cannot be done on his timeline. Was rarely at the office, but when he was, there was a lot of tension. Another worker, hired about the same time as me, was abruptly fired after sending a polite email which disagreed with some of the owner's behaviors.

Pros

Great collaborative teammates who are willing to help you learn and grow. When times are good it's a great experience overall and everyone has a great time and works well together on their projects.

Cons

When times aren't as good, things tended to quickly spiral. Upper management would either lash out to employees or would be misleading and provide false promises. Morale tanked quickly as everyone seemed to be focused on staying in their lane to not be next on the chopping block.

Pros

Loved the team, and learned a lot.

Cons

It is now 2026 and I got laid off in October of 2024. Still no signs of seeing my last paycheck - I've been asking them and my emails get ignored to this day. DO NOT accept a job offer here. You will not be paid. I had to BEG just to even get paid every month when I did work there. The CEO does the payroll and hardly responds or ignores you when you try to contact him but is definitely won't ignore attempts to join meetings and yell at everyone and destroy employee morale. Lots of empty promises. Offered me full time and left me financially distraught as I left my former job of 4 years for them only to be laid off.
