Pros
So many employees have left that there is plenty of office choice for remaining staff.
Cons
The (remaining) partners are inexperienced, insecure, secretive and impossible to work with. The ugly infighting among partners (including lawsuits against each other) makes headlines in the local papers. Multiple senior lawyers depart every year, often very angry at how they were treated. The firm is half the size it was five years ago. The firm now has such a bad reputation that the other island's lawyers either roll their eyes or laugh when they hear the firm's name. The firm has no HR policies, no annual reviews, no partnership track - your only interaction from managing partners might be caustic emails about timesheets, or unprofessional shouted insults if one particular partner has had a bad day. Awful, awful, awful.
