Pros
-Decent pay
-Small team
-Nice coworkers(for the most part) and the supervisor is a good dude
-Union
-Good benefits
Cons
- No set break times, there needs to be a set schedule.
- There is pressure to delay your breaks. So if you have a lunch at 12:30 and it's a bit busy, you will likely end up taking lunch closer to the end of your shift and basically miss out on your last 15 break.
-A lot of time is wasted. The scheduled shift is 7:00am-3:30pm, but there is a meeting first thing in the morning. The meetings are often not really necessary and waste a lot of time that could've been used to be productive.
-While the workers are mostly nice, many of them are terrible at communicating effectively. If you are new and mess up, some of them get really upset at you and accuse you of not paying attention when really they are just bad communicators.
-They are slow at training. My entire time working there, I never learned to do some of the essential parts of the job which was annoying.
