I am struggling to think of any pros.
The product is great and some of the people that I get to work with make it bearable.
Cons
-Same people are consistently recognized for their "contributions".
-Everything funnels through one of the co-founders which slows processes to a near stop until they decide its time to work on it then employees are expected to drop everything to tend to their request.
-The culture is insanely toxic because of the emotionless leadership and intimidation.
-People are regularly fired and the rest of the Company gets zero communication but are expected to pick up the pieces and continue without inturruption for fear of losing their own job.
-No regard for you as a person, your emotional well-being, or any life outside of work. This has gotten a little better at the CA office. Not sure what/if they've done to help remote employees (seems about 50% of the company)
-Unrealistic expectations from upper management and you are expected to work on THEIR schedule.
-Communication is a nightmare. EVERYTHING is a secret and on a need-to-know basis. Your work isn't good enough unless you learn to read minds.

Pros
Smart people are sprinkled throughout the company.
Cons
CEO has no respect for people's boundaries. He tries to fit in and relate to people but it comes off as fake and awkward, no social skills. He only cares about himself and thinks he's always right. Uses ChatGPT to show ppl he knows more than others.
The product development team talks down on other departments but they haven't shipped a new product in 4 years. They have the highest turnover rate as people don't want to work for the VP, who is full of himself.
