Pros
Strong set of core values promotes a positive work atmosphere. First and foremost is doing what's right for clients. Employees are both intelligent and collaborative. Senior management is mindful of developing employees. Any well-thought out idea is welcomed, as is healthy discussion even when from an opposing viewpoint. Small enough to retain a family feel, but large enough to make an impact. Although an older firm, recent initiatives are fueling growth. Generous medical benefits and solid vacation (with sabbatical).
Cons
Not for people looking for cookie cutter career advancement; it is up to you to define your path. Can sometimes be slower to adapt to changing conditions, but this seems to be mostly driven by an effort to make prudent and thoughtful decisions.
