Corporate turnover and purchase by rival company lead to the entire office being laid off. This was moronic because we created superior games and brought in millions more in revenue— and were developing an emerging techno that we never got to complete, which was poised to bring in even more money... and the studio they chose to keep created work that was sub par at best and less successful as a result. Can’t say much about the decision making of high level management.
