Pros

You meet some good people, good energy at first.

Cons

Pay sucks! No it’s and’s or but’s about it. Even with good experience they pay you crap but say they’ll make up for it in other ways. It’s basically that you’re under paid and micro managed to the hilt. It’s insane! I’m training you don’t even feel like you can take a bathroom break without getting talked to about it.

Hi there! We're disappointed to hear that this was your experience. We care about every employee's experience, which is why we have such a thorough training program. It's important to us that our employees are successful. Though it's a detailed program, based on the feedback we've received, it has prepared our employees with the tools and knowledge that they need to be successful in the role. In regards to compensation, we know it's an important factor to consider when looking at a new job. We try to be as transparent as possible throughout the hiring process so that candidates can pick the right fit for them. We would never want to put someone in a position that isn't right for them. We genuinely wish you the best and hope you find the role that you're looking for!

Pros

At the end of my tenure, I really have no pros.

Cons

I'm pretty sure I was "quietly laid off", in the effort of sneaky downsizing without having to actually do formal layoffs. This place was a godsend and a great place to work on my small independent team, and I did great. Then they did massive restructuring, added layers of hierarchy, added process, and basically just starting running a creative team like a line of factory workers. I had a horrible time with my manager on so many different levels, and felt validation when others would reflect the same, but I reflect what everyone else says - narcissistic, micro managing leadership that I now understand play manipulation games. I was put on a performance improvement plan and finally quit due to burnout, stress, and the dissolution of a role and a team that I had from before. They constantly push for solutions and deliverables, but I never really saw anything I delivered actually get treated and implemented with respect. Company policies and siloed team policies and procedures stymie actual effectiveness, and it seems like the leadership acts as your strict grade school teacher rather than having your back.
