Absolutely no pros about working here

Where do I start I don’t usually write reviews, but I wish someone had written this before I accepted the role. This organisation is run by a CEO who needs a villain in every story. Any time something goes wrong — a delay, a miscommunication, a shift in priorities — they immediately look for someone to blame publicly. It’s not about solving the problem, it’s about finding a scapegoat to protect their own ego. I watched talented, intelligent, genuinely good people get humiliated, pushed out, or emotionally worn down simply because they asked questions, raised risks, or tried to improve something. If you show initiative or have ideas, you become a threat. If you stay quiet and compliant, you survive… for a while. The culture is fear-driven. Meetings feel like you’re walking into an exam where the failure is already predetermined. People whisper in hallways. No one trusts each other because everyone is trying not to be the next target. There is no psychological safety here — none. What’s heartbreaking is that the staff are actually amazing. There is so much potential, so many passionate people who want to build something meaningful. But when the person at the top thrives on division, intimidation, and blame, that potential is completely wasted. I left for my sanity. I watched others leave for theirs. Many more are planning their exits quietly. If you value your confidence, your dignity, or your mental health: do not go here unless there is new leadership.
