Pros
1. You get to feel what a start-up really feels like 2. Staff don't last very long so if you stay long, you can make a lot of friends 3. There's a snack bar 4. You get gifts 5. Office is in the city. Great for public transport.
Cons
1. Work from home is out of the question. 2. Toxic work environment as employees (mainly the CEO) will gossip about your performance & life to other employees. 3. Lack of acknowledging good/hard work. 4. Management can not communicate what they want 5. Lack of proper training for financial advice and other aspects. 6. Lack of boundaries in terms of talking about employees choices and their private lives. 7. Lack of an HR department to complain when management has crossed a boundary 8. Extremely high expectations 9. High attrition rate (constantly having employees leave) 10. Being compared to other employees. 11. There were multiple instances of micro-aggressions in terms of hiring and general speaking.
