Pros

Medical coverage options are diverse. Professional conduct is reciprocated between staff and management. Hard work is recognized and rewarded daily within my department. Recent emphasis by management on working with other departments to close sales has greatly improved the communication and support between departments. The gradual migration from start-up 'fraternity' behavior in the office to stricter corporate conduct has created much more consistent guidelines and expectations of and by employees. Gone are the days of keg-tapping and drinking in the office during business hours-except for the occasional celebration. When people know what is expected of them it gives them the opportunity to perform to standard and exceed those expectations. Recently, recognition of such performance has really been kicked into overdrive. I hope people are seeing opportunities to grow instead of feeling discontented.

Cons

The price of medical coverage just went through the roof-may not necessarily be directly related to the company. The general discontent sometimes heard around the office is salary. Living in Silicon Valley is expensive. The sentiment heard is that Barracuda can and should pay their employees like the enterprise company they're growing to be.

Pros

Work/Life Balance, Flexibility of schedule and a strong team feel amongst the SA Team.

Cons

Product functionality, vision of leadership team, stale solution set and very difficult to meet quota since you're covering 15+ AE's. You spend a lot of time trying to "save" customers vs. actively selling.
