Cons
1) Lack of consistent structure and processes. If you are not willing to start from scratch (forms, processes) then this is not a good fit for you. 2) Job is far more tactical than advertised, many small clients need help outside of consulting, you do whatever it takes to keep a client happy, including tactical work. 3) Autonomy* - if you have untrusting or ego-driven teammates you will be microed, some positions presume authority over teammates. 4) Profit sharing is not fairly distributed, if you work at a favored branch you have a chance at getting decent bonuses, if you don't you will see nothing or a charity bonus. 5) Zero raises, even if you've been with the company for over 12 years. Not even cost of living increases. New hires come in with less experience and get more pay. 6) Larger branches lack management, once there are three or more Business Units, things get hairy and Branch Managers (Area Managers) do not have visibility to manage as they are heavily tasked with sales activity. This leads to bigger issues with item #3.
