Pros

Compensation was in the higher percentiles and was supposed (verbatim) to make us "suck it up" when it comes to all the rest.

Cons

TOXIC culture - the CEO is a psychopath who doesn't know how to manage leaders, controls the tiniest of details, and uses gaslighting and bullying as his favourite tactics.

There are many points on which I respectfully disagree. In a fairly early stage startup, it is true that as CEO and Founder I may be more involved in certain aspects of the business than you would find in a more mature organization. That said, seasoned employees and leaders know that as they come to understand the vision of the businesses and trust is built, this “hands on” mindset in time evolves. If you have any additional thoughts to share, please reach out. We wish you luck in your future endeavors, Gal Biran

Pros

🎯 Base allows me to be my best self and do my best work 🎯 They do what is right for the community, their people, and others 🎯 I get to work with a happy bunch of people 🎯 I do not get micromanaged 🎯 I believe in our product

Cons

👉🏼 We are a startup so you have a lot more to do that is non-traditional for your role 👉🏼 Missing US medical benefits since but they reimburse me for Cobra 👉🏼 I do not get to work in person with cool Israeli coworkers since we are fully remote in US

Pros

-Fast growing space with a lot of opportunities to work with amazing SaaS companies in need of improving their customer marketing & advocacy programs -Flexible work schedule & balance -Great prospects/customers to work with who are passionate about people and their work

Cons

-Typical growing pains of start-up as the rocket ship is being built -Definitely a tough, but fun sale as the technology can touch several departments so more a challenge than a con
