Pros
Overall the Distribution Center is getting more well rounded in employee involvement. Lots of hours to work with overtime needed. Lots of times lunch is provided. The pay is slightly above average but expect no pay raise.
Cons
The Distribution Center claims to prioritize its employees, but in reality, it shows no genuine concern. I worked in management, and this fact was tightly kept under wraps. There is rampant cronyism, particularly after the integration of Airgas personnel, who took control. The company has been experiencing a severe decline, with daily sales dropping from $900K to $650K and about 100 layoffs in the past year. Unfortunately, I see no signs of improvement on the horizon for the next few years based on my experience. It is disheartening to witness the downfall of a company that used to be well-managed, but the recent changes in management have led to a decline in output and sales. Additionally, there has been a notable increase in work-related injuries. I strongly advise considering alternative employment options.
