Pros
Good benefits, nice team, passionate people, flexible schedule and unlimited PTO
Cons
Of the 8+ hires in the past year, all have been let go in addition to more longer term serving staff. The high turnover in the team is quite disruptive considering the size. Not a lot of the team have been around for more than 2-3 years. While there is unlimited PTO, there often isn't the ability to utilise it as there is no one to cover your work so rarely are staff taking consecutive days rather than long weekends. There can be a lot of overtime required without full accrual of days in lieu, you might get 1/3 of the time back if you can even manage to get the day off! There's a lot of talk about changes, policy and improving ways of working with little to no implementation. A lot of the issues discussed would be expected in a young <5 year company and not of this tenure (12 year+). The shifting to quick financial wins rather than longterm investment adds extra stress to the team, things naturally crash and there is a lot of pointing fingers and quick to avoid ownership
