Pros
External staff are looked after very well
Cons
I’ve been at the company for a few years, and the decline in culture has been sharp. What was once a supportive, family-run business has become profit-driven and cold, especially toward internal staff.
Since the leadership change, respect and values have taken a back seat. Some directors regularly speak to staff in a disrespectful manner and openly criticise both current and former employees. There’s little room for input, management isn’t open to suggestions and expects things to be done their way, no matter the impact.
If you’re not in favor with the right people, they’ll make work difficult, regardless of your performance. The environment has become toxic, with leadership behaviors bordering on bullying. This is reflected in the high staff turnover internally.
The company does take care of its external workforce, but if you’re considering a role on the internal team, I’d strongly advise looking elsewhere.
