Pros

I started working at Bay in September of 2013. After graduating from UC Irvine, I was looking for a job to gain experience and to "get my feet wet." I wasn't too sure exactly what I was getting myself into when I joined Bay, but within my first week in the business I had felt like I had already gained more experience than I ever did in my four years of college. Looking back, I can't even remember the girl I used to be. My confidence has sky rocketed, my communication and people skills has expanded drastically, and I've developed connections with some very motivating individuals. After only seven months of my working for Bay, I had bypassed my mentors and my trainers and had fast tracked myself into Assistant Management. How fast you want to grow within the company is completely dependent on you. How much you put into it is how much you're going to get out of it.

Cons

I think the con would be that it's a little bit more time consuming in comparison to other jobs. Then again, this isn't just a job. It's a start to your career. I realized that things in life won't just be handed to you. You have to go out there and get it.

Pros

If you are a really good salesperson you might do well here. Unless you can pick up the talent extremely quickly you won't last long.

Cons

During my brief time with Bay Inc. I was required to work up to 12 hours a day, 6 days a week where I had to show up to the office for the morning meeting at 7am and often didn't get back from the field, cash out, have a quick meeting with a team leader, and leave until 7pm or later. And all of this for 100% commission based pay. They lure in young people with false advertising the position as a management position. The only speck of truth in that is that if you are an amazing salesperson and put up the best numbers then you might get promoted into a management position. As a business to business salesperson for Bay Inc. you are expected to be driven to a new territory every day, walk around by yourself for most of the day going into every single business you pass and try and sell you pack to every single employee in the business, then at the end of the day get picked up and driven back to the office.
