Pros
The work is outdoors and the houses are beautiful (expensive). Most of the people are friendly and approachable. A motivated person can learn a great deal about building as the small group does everything from "forest to finish". Everything is in-house, first party work except electricity and plumbing.
Cons
While most of the workers are friendly, a small amount of management is very out of touch with the company and has a poor attitude and/or apathy for the workers. To my knowledge, there were not any raises or increases. The company did not offer any form of health plan, and the work sometime went into the night with no overtime pay whatsoever (hello, concrete).
