My experience at this workplace was extremely disappointing due to inconsistent standards, favouritism, and poor management accountability.
Certain long-serving employees were allowed to behave in an unprofessional manner and exercise authority in ways that negatively impacted team morale, with little to no consequence.
Management standards were applied inconsistently. Employees faced disciplinary action for lateness and other conduct issues, yet similar behaviour from more senior members , including repeated lateness, appeared to be overlooked. Showing obvious double standards and undermined confidence in management decisions.
Overall, I found the culture to be toxic, cliquey, and at times hostile. Favouritism, inconsistent policy enforcement, and a lack of accountability created an environment where employees did not feel they were being treated fairly.
