Pros
Pay is decent. Probably Ok if you are a finance or operations person.
Cons
Toxic work environment. Culture is basically machiavellian mixed with a Lord of the Flies atmosphere. Overly focused on analyzing everything to the point where there is no investment in driving the business forward and everyone is afraid to take a risk or stand up to bad decisions. Systems are years if not decades behind most companies and there is no innovation. Constant touting on all the acquisitions the company has made, but it is effectively a holding company and there is little to no integration. Stock price drives everything there and that is all the executive team really cares about. It is certainly not people or the long term vision of the company. It's a regional cable company masquerading as a global tech company. Any marketing or sales folks should stay far far away - there is no support for these groups and they churn through any talent. Sales folks just take a beating each quarter for poor execution across the company. Just look at LinkedIn and the number of former employees. Same goes with HR and IT. Finance and operations people are the only ones moderately treated decent. You are in constant survival mode there, and there is always a target on your back, even if you do a good job. You will see good people turn into horrible, paranoid drones just to survive each quarter with no empathy or thought for team members.
