      They pay pretty well for a tutoring company

      Cons

      If you have a problem with any students, they have the clients back and not yours. Essentially they treat their tutors in a highly patronizing fashion. I don't think they make the distinction between tutor and kids/students. The management clearly don't know what they're doing and don't have a background in education. All of lessons are from a packet so it doesn't really feel like you are teaching. Just spitting out the material written on the page. I stuck around because of the pay but that gets pretty old quickly, especially if you care at all about teaching.

      Pros

      Opportunity to work closely with students and see measurable academic improvement. Flexible scheduling compared to traditional teaching roles. Small class sizes and one-on-one sessions allow for personalized instruction. Supportive coworkers and collaborative atmosphere among instructors. Chance to build skills in curriculum delivery, test prep strategies, and student engagement. Exposure to a variety of grade levels and subjects. Management is generally approachable and open to feedback.

      Hours can be inconsistent depending on enrollment and season (busy during summer/SAT season, slower in off months).
