Too many chiefs, not enough indians!! - Anonymous employee Berry Global Employee Review

Pros

Most people are easy to get along with, in spite of the pressure to do more with less. I liked the twelve hour rotational shifts better than the eight hours that generally turned into tens @ 6 & 7 days per week. Pay was pretty competitive for the specified work positions. Paid birthdays!! (eight hours, only, regardless of shift hours)

Cons

Rule updates tend to be knee-jerk reactions to anything management has an issue with handling. Often times, people are expected to do jobs above their pay scale and, without fail, it goes unrecognized at times of promotional bids. Middle management does nothing to protect their subordinates & everything to pass the buck. Some even create a hostile work environment. Training, in all positions, consists of yelling at people and/or telling everyone what an idiot you are.

Pros

Easy job, decent coworkers and benefits.

Cons

Despite the longstanding history and continuous profits of Berry plastics among factories in Evansville it is unanimously viewed as the lowest paying and poorest conditions
