Pros

The discount is amazing (you'll understand why), the uniform is pretty relaxed, and the knowledge you gain is really useful.

Cons

The hours during the holiday season are insane. They work you literally into sickness, I caught a bad cold every single winter from being so rundown. For example, warehouse associates start Boxing Day shifts literally at midnight and work until noon. Black Friday? 4:30 AM, baby! It's literally retail and they have you working like a steel factory employee but with a sliver of the pay. The expectations to sell are also unrealistic, it's pushy and borders on disrespect for a customer's budget. The expectation is that of a place where employees work on commission, but you don't so there isn't any reason to push customers into purchases. Last but not least, if you think this company cares, please do not be fooled. Mental health issues? Doesn't matter. Personal life falling apart? Save it. All I'm going to say is that if you work for this company, I hope you have an excellent support system outside of it. If you can leave, I urge you to take a chance and do it.

Pros

No Need to sell or deal with customers (Much) Constantly moving so you always have a task to do Management leaves you to your own devices Almost all warehouse employees have a set of headphone

Cons

Everyone (Cust & employees) Expect an encyclopedic knowledge on where every single item is. Management seems to think we can lift a 85" tv, pull a washer off the top shelf, stock gaming shelves, and handle store pick up at the same moment. Customers think we don't want to help them when we call someone else to help with sales There's almost too much to do and even though we may have 1-3 employees working at a time, 1 is at the door, 1 is behind store pick up, which leaves 1 employee to handle new orders, deliveries, and down stocking.
