10yI'm honestly not quite sure how to respond to this review, other than to say it reached the eyes of the people you wanted it to reach. We review all of our feedback on Glassdoor, and take every comment seriously -- both the positive and the negative. I will admit, however, that I smiled a bit at your comment on HR being "deceptively saccharine" -- as I can honestly say that no one has ever used the word "saccharine" to describe me. :) (In fact, I hear more of the opposite.)
If you're still at Periscope, my challenge to you is simply this: believe that *you* can make a difference. If you work for someone who isn't listening to your concerns, come find me. And if it's *me* that you're frustrated with, please go over my head and meet with any member of our Executive Committee. Brittany Hested can make that happen for you.
I still believe in Periscope, and that's not the Kool-Aid talking. If you'd like to be involved in changing things for the better, find me. I'm hard to miss. :) But, if you don't think that Periscope can meet your professional needs anymore, I certainly I hope you find a place that can. Life's too short to be that unhappy.
