Pros
- The people here are a fun group to work with. Everyone is very friendly, and there's little to no office politics. - They genuinely care about their staff, and the co-founders do their best to get to know the staff, and they actually want to know what's going on with you. - The front office staff is easy to talk to and ask questions of - The senior devs are interested in mentoring junior staff, they don't try to keep you down, they help you learn and grow - The weekly demos let you show off your stuff and tell people what you're working on, and when it's someone else's turn you get to see the big picture and give others kudos - free pop, juice, snacks and fresh fruit weekly is a nice perk - the office is a nice open space, with tons of great food options, and transit close by, big bike racks out front to lock up your ride.
Cons
- sometimes it can be very quiet, but that's not always a bad thing - sometimes it can be hard to tell what's a priority, because there are always big ideas bouncing around. You can easily clear this up with a question or two though. - If you aren't self-driven, the autonomy you get for your work might not be your cup of tea. - If you like to see your work make a difference, and not just line someone else's pocket, this is a great place to work.
