Pros

The people working here are great, everyone is easy to get along with and friendly and someone is always happy to help you out when you need it. Remote working though only 2 days a week. Free pizza on Fridays

Cons

The company has been on a downward spiral for quite a while now and everyone seems to be jumping ship. Even after we have had multiple senior team members leave there seems to be no real effort to retain employees who are just being given their workload. Management is incompetent, they make almost nonsensical decisions such as mass hiring in the sales department during a time on economic downturn, whilst also not growing the delivery team. Then they act surprised when they have to fire a bunch of them. They had a huge investment but nothing to show for it, they told us it was invested in R&D but they've let go multiple software developers at the same time. There's no prospect of progression, all salary increases are tied to tenure and the comission scheme is a joke. There's also no benefits. And I don't count free pizza as a benefit. The job isn't even really data analyst more of an account manager role so I feel like I've been lied to about what my work would be. There's still some analyst work but it's outweighed by nonsense like having to be on calls when we do not even provide anytnying that the client success manager does not. If you're in America it's even worse good luck having anyone even listen to your concerns since the only way to communicate with management is over slack for them. They also hire people straight out of uni and while that seems great on the surface but seems it's just to take advantage of the fact that they'll not complain because it's their first job and just want experience and will be okay with below market rate pay, no benefits, and a culture that has progressively gotten worse.

We have been through a period of rapid growth, and are aware that at times that places a particularly high workload on the delivery team. Matching the pace of recruitment to company growth is not easy, and recently we got it wrong - a painful lesson learned, but the changes we made were necessary to protect the jobs of the large majority of our team, and ensures we are able to pursue our revised growth goals.
