Not great - Store Manager Big 5 Sporting Goods Employee Review

Hours are all over the place and upper management doesn't promote based off merit, practically no raises, you feel like you are not real management... your a regular employee but with keys and you risk fighting the bums outside daily. no seriously, not exaggerating, i have been attacked 4 times and once seriously, why? because they were stealing and were asked to leave, had a lady S*** on the floor out of defiance (guess who cleans that up) and almost every time i told upper management or requested a security service i was scoffed at.... just dont do it unless its your only option or you enjoy the thrill of fighting bums
