Pros
The schedule for the most is flexible. Very supportive suppliers when it comes to cases, sampling, or demo's. Mid to lower management, Area Sales Managers and Borough Managers are very eager to assist when necessary, just a phone call away.
Cons
Where do I begin? To start, lack of leadership, not much experience from Upper Management(Ex. Hiring an IT Tech to cater a wedding). Not sure if anyone honestly believes what Upper Management preaches, as most times it's impractical and just plain crazy. Goals are exaggerated and impossible to achieve. At times I felt like a child in high school. Never have I ever been disrespected and be-littled by an employer, be prepared for that. Commission's change often and are never communicated or discussed. Tones are set by the narcissist COO (Jerry Reda) than trickled down the food chain. To think this man is a Deacon holding a mass in a church on the weekend, is just bizarre. Company men after him are considered "YES MEN", more so for the fear of unemployment. Luckily, when your a corporate guy your not last on the totem pole, but its quite hard to believe it can get any worse, but it does. Ultimately, the Distributor's(Route Owner's) have come together and organized to file a lawsuit against the company. To think all 30 Route Owner's got together should show you just how bad it is there. Of course, the ego driven COO is in disbelief and underestimating the severity of the case. If anyone in their right mind who is seeking employment doesn't see that as a huge red flag, then by all means enjoy the roller coaster ride ahead of you.
