Potential for Growth, but Challenges Exist - Anonymous employee BigID Employee Review

The company has potential, but it's not all gold and shiny. Despite being a top performer in my department, I was unexpectedly downgraded in my position without any clear explanation or opportunity to improve. HR reached out to me without offering feedback on what I could do better, which felt like a passive invitation to leave rather than a genuine effort to support my growth. This unprofessional handling of employee relations leaves much to be desired. The recent management shift in Professional Services has also introduced a micromanaging approach, far from being the company style until mid-2024. I've noticed that this has limited creativity and independence across the board. Additionally, the lay off process often felt abrupt and could benefit from more consideration for employees' contributions.
